William “Bill” J. Glanville, 68, of Newington, beloved husband for over 41 years of Margaret “Margo” (Paladino) Glanville, passed away on Thursday (August 16, 2012) at St. Francis Hospital. Born in West Hartford on January 1, 1944, he was the son of the late William and Sally (Vignone) Glanville and lived in Hartford for most of his life prior to moving to Newington nine years ago. He worked for many years in the printing industry. Bill was a longtime member of the Masons, serving as past Master of Wyllys-St. John’s Lodge #4 in West Hartford and was also a member of the Scottish Rite Association and District Deputies. In addition to his wife, Margo, Bill is survived by his aunt and uncle, Mildred and Clifford Abt and his aunt, Rose M. Byrom, all of Rocky Hill; his niece, Shana Paladino Ripp and her husband Jay and their daughter Arabella of Canada; nephew, Michael Paladino and his partner Jeff Wood of VA; brother-in-law, Joseph Paladino and his wife Heather of Torrington; sister-in-law, Carol Wheeler and her husband Al of FL as well as his special friends, Nick and Faith DeCarlo, Gene and Carolyn Gilbert and Jack DeCarlo.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday at 10 a.m. at Corpus Christi Church, 601 Silas Deane Hwy., Wethersfield. Everyone is asked to please go directly to the church. Burial will be private. The family will receive friends and relatives on Sunday from 3-6 p.m. at the D’Esopo Funeral Chapel, 277 Folly Brook Blvd., Wethersfield.
