He died on 27 September 1930 at Sydenham, KEN, ENG, (when age calculated as 76); recorded age 76, registered Lewisham. Announced in The Times 29 Sep p14 where it stated he died West Hill, Sydenham yesterday; a County Councillor for Rotherhithe 1897-1910; then entered Parliament as a Liberal, sitting for Bermondsey 1910-22 when he retired. Twice married; seriously ill some months; leaves widow, three sons, daughter; funeral at Nunhead 1.30pm Wednesday.
