     He died on 6 August 1938 at Southernleigh, Linfield, SRY, ENG, (when age calculated as 76); recorded age 76, registered Surrey S. E. Announced in The Times of 8 Aug p12, naming him Brigadier General Francis Glanville, R.E, son of Major General F.R. Glanville, R.A. Born 1862, commissioned 1881, Brig General in 1916, retired 3 years later. Married 1888 Frances Guenevere Craufurd, had two daughters.
