     He was baptized on 17 December 1878 at the Parish Church, Lanfighangel Genau'r Glyn, CGN, WLS, Joseph Lyle of Thomas and Mary Ann Glanville, abode Talybont.
     He married Edith Kate Corbett on 29 May 1880 at the Parish Church, Yspvtty Cynlyn, CGN, WLS, his age recorded 23, hers 22, bachelor and spinster. Fathers named Thomas Glanville and James Corbett both mine agents.

GLANVILLE - CORBETT - On the 29th, ult., at Yspvtty Cynlyn Church, by the Rev Evan James, Vicar, Joseph Lyle, youngest son of Thomas Glanville, Talybont, to Edith Kate, second daughter of James Corbett, Ponterwyd.
Registered Aberystwith.
     He died on 25 August 1926 at Welland, ONT, CAN; recorded age 70.

     On 5 November 1881 he was named in The Aberystwith Observer giving a statement on the death of Captain Boundy at the West Lisburne mine in October, named Captain Lyle Glanville.
