     Sophia Gomez was born in 1814.
     She married James Kellam on 13 June 1836 at Gibraltar (when age calculated as 22 years) Gibraltar June 13th 1836 James Kellem, Private of the 47th Regiment, (Bachelor) and Sophia Gomez, Inhabitant (Spinster) were married by Banns in this Garrison on this thirteenth day of June, in the year of our Lord One thousand eight hundred and thirty-six

     She married William Glanville, son of John Glanville and Ann Grace Warren, on 26 November 1844 at the Register Office, Daventry, NTH, ENG, (when age calculated as 30 years) Sophia marrying as Sophia Kellam, but naming her father as James Gomez, and herself as a widow. William recorded "full age". Registered Daventry.
     She died on 2 October 1852 at Toodyay, WA, AUS; cause of death: childbirth (stillbirth.)

     Sophia was married 2 times.
     Sophia had at least 2 daughters; named Maria Antonia and Ann KELLAM.
     She is reported to have either had a relationship with or married a William Duck between being married to James Kellam and William Glanville, with some information in 47th Regt paybooks and chaplain records indicating Catherine born 1840 Malta (mother Sophia), Sophia born 1842 St Kitts (mother Sophia). The 47th paybooks at time of Wm Duck's death on 12 Mar 1842 list kids as Elizabeth, Catharine and Annaliese.
     Sophia Gomez and William Glanville immigrated in 1851 to AUS on the convict ship Pyrenees (which left Torbay, Devon 30 Mar 1851 and arrived 28 Jun 1851). William being a pensioner guard (warder) with wife Sophia and 5 children (2 of which where Sophia's by her earlier marriage.)
