     James Kellam was born before 1816.
     He married Sophia Gomez on 13 June 1836 at Gibraltar Gibraltar June 13th 1836 James Kellem, Private of the 47th Regiment, (Bachelor) and Sophia Gomez, Inhabitant (Spinster) were married by Banns in this Garrison on this thirteenth day of June, in the year of our Lord One thousand eight hundred and thirty-six

Other information

     James supposedly died in 1840 of a burst blood vessel during band practise. He had been either a Bandmaster 4th Regiment or a Private 47th Regiment stationed at Gibraltar when he married Sophia in 1836.
