CARROLLTON, VA Pamela Moore Glanville, 65, of Carrollton, Virginia left for her eternal home on Sunday, January 11, 2015. A retired teacher, writer, and historian, Pam was a member of Christ Episcopal Church in Smithfield, Virginia. She was an avid reader and enjoyed needlecrafts. Pam is survived by her devoted husband of 38 years Charles Frederick “Fred” Glanville; her son Peter Coleman Glanville (Carol Gillam); three stepchildren, Chuck Glanville, Lora Saunders (David), and David Glanville (Lisa); brother, Dennis Moore (Cherie) and a sister, Paula Bergdall (Paul). Pam dedicated her life to serving others and caring for family. A visitation will be held 6:00–7:30pm, Wednesday, January 14, 2015 in Colonial Funeral Home, 1515 South Church Street, Smithfield, VA. A Life Celebration Service will be held at 11:00am, Thursday, January 15, in Christ Episcopal Church, 111 South Church Street, Smithfield. Interment will be at 11:00am on Friday, January 16 at the Moore family cemetery in Appomattox, Virginia.
