     Rebecca Napton was born between 1827 and 1828 at Kingsand, CON, ENG; Maker recorded in 1861 census.
     She married William Henry Glanville, son of Thomas Glanville and Ann Granger, on 22 July 1851 at Stoke Damerel, DEV, ENG, registered Stoke Damerel. His age recorded 24, hers 23. Fathers named Thomas Glanville labourer, John Knapton shipwright.
     She died circa November 1876 at Portsea Island registered, HAM, ENG; recorded age 49.

     On 13 July 1860 subsequent to her marriage she made the following deposition:
I, Rebecca Glanville the wife of William Henry Glanville Gunner Royal Navy now serving on Her Majestys Gun Boat Foxhound do solemly and sincerely declare that I married my siad Husband at the Parish Church of Stoke Damerel on the twenty second of July in the year one thousand eight hundred and fifty one, my said Husband was at the time of our Marriage of the Parish of St Germans in Cornwall and that his Father Thomas Glanville then resided at Treskelly Lime Kilns in that Prish and now residdes at Coldrenick Lodge in the Parish of Menheniot in Cornwall. He was married to me in the name of "William Glanville and it should have been in the names of "William Henry" Glanville, as appeard by the Register of his Baptism herto annexed. Dated.
