Usher Glanville Doyle Glanville MRCS LRCP was born on 31 October 1844 at Brighton, SSX, ENG; registered Brighton.He married Edith Adeline Cartwright circa May 1872 at Thingoe registered, SFK, ENG, banns having been read at St Mary, Osterley, Hounslow, Middx on May 5, 12 and 19 naming then Bachelor and Spinster, him of this parish and her Parish of Broadfield St George, Suffolk.

Glanville of University College.
On 17 July 1874 The London Gazette listed:
NOTICE is hereby given, that the Partnership heretofore subsisting between us the undersigned, William Michael Whitmarsh and Usher Glanville Doyle Glanville, carrying on business in Hounslow, in the county of Middlesex, under the style or firm of Whitmarsh and Glanville, as Surgeons and Apothecaries, was, as and from the 30th day of June last, dissolved by mutual consent. All debts due to or by the said firm will be received and paid by the said William Michael Whitmarsh, by whom the said business will in future be carried on.—As witness our hand this 2nd day of July, 1874.
