     Edward Flight Glanville was born in 1831 at Ewelme, OXF, ENG.
     He was baptized on 23 October 1831 at Ewelme, OXF, ENG, parents named John and Alice Glanville.
     He married Charlotte Eliza Hyatt, daughter of John Hyett and Eliza Ann Glanville, on 1 August 1855 at the Parish Church, Warborough, OXF, ENG, (when age calculated as 24 years) a marriage of cousins. Registered Wallingford. Both of full age. Fathers name John Glanville carpenter, John Hyatt farmer. Witnesses Charles Hyatt, Sophia Thatcher, Maria Hyatt.
     He died in August 1888 at Hackney registered, MDX, ENG; recorded age 57.
     He was buried on 2 September 1888 at Chingford Mount Cemetery, Chingford, ESS, ENG, recorded age 57.

     On 19 February 1864 The London Gazette listed
Edward Glanville, of the Crown Inn, in the parish of Bensington, in the county of Oxford, Licensed Victualler, Builder, and Contractor, having been adjudged bankrupt under a Petition for adjudication of Bankruptcy, filed in Her Majesty's Court of Bankruptcy, in London, on the 11th day of February, 1864, is hereby required to surrender himself to Thomas Ewing Winslow, Esq., a Registrar of the said Court, at the first meeting of creditors to be held before the said Registrar, on the 1st day of March next, at twelve o'clock at noon precisely, at the said Court. Mr. George John Graham, of No. 25, Coleman-street, London, is the Official Assignee, and Messrs. White and Sons, of No. 11, Bedford-row, London, for J. R. and C. Hedges, Wallingford, are the Solicitors acting in the bankruptcy.

     On 23 September 1881 The London Gazette listed:
NOTICE is hereby given, that the Partnership heretofore subsisting between us the undersigned, Joseph Frederick Nash and Edward Glanville, of Ewelme, in the county of Oxon, Brick and Tile Manufacturers, under the firm or style of E. H. and W. Glanville and Co., has been this day dissolved by mutual consent. And that all debts due and owing to or by the aforesaid late firm will be received and paid by the said Edward Glanville; and that in future such business will be carried on by the said Edward Glanville alone.—As witness our hands this 16th day of September, 1881.
