Bonnie is preceded in death by her husband of 70 years, Paul T. Glanville, Jr. and an infant daughter, Mary Louise. Bonnie married Paul on October 18, 1947 in Dallas, Texas. She also leaves behind their six children: Susan Marie Glanville, Rebecca Glanville Francis, Charles T. Glanville and wife, Percy J. Glanville, Paula Glanville Allen and husband, Dennis, Penny Glanville Matel and husband, Didier, and Beverly Glanville and husband, Tony Burton. Bonnie was known for her heart of gold and helping others as a Registered Nurse. Her happiest times were raising her children and working in her flower bed. When she walked into a room, she grasps everyone’s attention with her poise and glamour with her elaborate style of clothing as the true southern belle she was. Bonnie loved to dance and sing. She would exercise even at the age of 93 and had a stamina like no other.
Our mother was the best God could have chosen for us. She made sure all six of us were taken care of with visits to the doctor, dentist, school activities and swimming lessons. Every evening we had a home cooked meal where we all sat down together to eat as a family. Our father was the covering of our home but our mother was the one that kept it together.
Her strength, strong faith and legacy of honorable morals and Christian beliefs will be passed down through all generations. Thank you Lord that you chose Bonnie McKnight Glanville to be our mother when You could have chosen any woman in the world. You knew we deserved the very best, and we thank You so much!
