     Lieut. George Julius Glanville was born on 3 October 1831 at St Germans, CON, ENG.
     He was baptized on 26 November 1831 at St Germans, CON, ENG, parents Francis, Equire and Annabel Glanville.
     He died on 27 June 1857 at Cawnpore, India, (when age calculated as 25); Lieutenant George Julius Glanville - murdered in the massacre at Cawnpore - 27th June 1857. Aged 25. Son of Francis and Amabel, of Cornwall.

     On 27 March 1855 The London Gazette listed To have the locak rank of Lieutenant in Turkey, Second Lieutenant George Julius Glanville, 2nd Bengal Fusiliers. Dated 27 Mar 1855.
     On 17 October 1857 The Times p10 listed military personnel believed killed, including Regular Cavalry, 2d European Fusileers, Lieutenant G.J. Glanvill.
     On 6 May 1858 The Supplement to The London Gazette listed deaths:
G. J. Glanville, Lieutenant, 2nd Bengal Fusiliers, in Lt Delafosse's boat at Suthee Chowrah Ghat on 26 Jun 1857.
