     He married Beatrice Gertrude Norton on 20 April 1918 at Marylebone registered, MDX, ENG, (when age calculated as 33 years, 4 months and 26 days) listed in the April 25 1918 edition of Flight magazine, Personals section, under marriages:
Captain Hugh Fanshawe Glanville, R.A.F., younger son of Rev. O. F. Glanville, of South Brent, Devon was married on April 20th, in London, by licence, to Beatrice Gertrude, widow of Lionel C.H. Savory, of Dibden, Southampton.

Captain Hugh Fanshawe Glanville, R.A.F., who died at the V.A.D. Hospital at Gullane, E. Lothian, on May 24th, as the result of an accident while flying the previous day, was the younger son of the Rev. O.F. Glanville, South Brent, Devon, and husband of B.G. Glanville.

Capt. Hugh Fanshawe Glanville, R.A.F., who died on May 24th at Gullane, East Lothian, as the result of an accident while flying on the previous day, was the younger son of the Rev. O.F. Glanville, South Brent, Devon. He joined the Royal Flying Corps in January, 1913, from the 1st West India Regiment in which he had served for eight years. He accompanied the British Expeditionary Force to France in August, 1914, as a member of the Royal Flying Corps. He had also seen service in Italy with the R.F.C.

Registered Dirleton, recorded age 33.

     His estate was probated on 1 August 1918 indexed as:
