     He was baptized on 16 July 1817 at St Margaret's parish church, St Margaret Street, Westminster, MDX, ENG.
     He married Edith Newnman Winstanley on 7 May 1845 at St Mildred parish church, Poultry, London City, LND, ENG, (when age calculated as 27 years, 10 months and 20 days) registered London. Both of full age, by licence. Bachelor and Spinster. Fathers named Jeremiah Glanville builder, Edward Winstanley druggist.
Reported in Reading Mercury 10 May 1845:
On the 7th inst., at St. Mildred's Church, Poultry, by the Rev. Robert South, M.A., Mr. J. Glanvill, of Guildford, son of the late Mr. Glanvill, of Great Queen-street, Westminster, to Edith Newnham, youngest daughter of Mr. Edward Winstanley, of No.7, Poultry.
     He died on 16 April 1875 at Waterden Cottage, Guildford, SRY, ENG, (when age calculated as 57); announced in The Times of 20 Apr p1 as "On Friday, the 15th Inst, suddenly, at his residence, Waterden Cottage, Guildford, J GLANVILLE, Esq., aged 57". Registered Guildford, recorded age 57.
     His estate was probated on 15 June 1875 indexed as:
1875 GLANVILLE Jeremiah late of Waterden Cottage, Guildford, Surrey, gentleman who died on 16 April 1875 at Waterden Cottage. Will proved at London on 15 June by Matthew Wood of West Lodge, Horsham, Sussex, Esquire and Thomas Mapleson Butler of Guildford, surgeon, the executors, under £1500.
     He was buried on 22 April 1875 at St John the Evangelist, Stoke next Guildford, SRY, ENG, recorded age 57.
